Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A veteran of over 800 NHL games despite going undrafted, defenceman Greg de Vries skated for a number of clubs including Ottawa, Atlanta and Edmonton. He also won a Cup with the Avalanche in 2001. This Oilers’ jersey was worn by the Sundridge native in 1997-98. Labels from RMC and CCM along with a “58” size tag sit along the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the classic and partially-textured oil drop team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate patches over each shoulder. Thorough use is exhibited on the “White Set 2” sweater, with dark marks over the sleeves and front along with 14 team repairs split evenly between each sleeve. The team patch sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany along with a COR from MeiGray.
