Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
With arguably one of the coolest names to ever grace an NHL nameplate, Vaclav Varada spent parts of 8 seasons with Buffalo before being traded to the Ottawa Senators for Jakub Klepiš just before the 2003 NHL trade deadline. This Senators jersey was worn by the Czech native in the 2003-04 regular season and Stanley Cup playoffs. Size tagging sits along the collar, with NHL and CCM crests on the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Featuring an attractive Senators team crest with textured highlights, the white V-neck has been embellished with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers along with the Roger Neilson memorial patch residing over the right breast. Thorough use is exhibited on the "White 3rd Regular Season/Stanley Cup Playoffs" garment, with marks over the front and sleeves along with heavy board burns over each elbow. There is also a pair of team repairs present, both situated on the right sleeve over the elbow. A MeiGray patch numbered B06652 sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
