Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
NHL contracts are highly sought after and collected for a number of reasons. They usually offer iron-clad signatures, along with pertinent information that allows one to peruse interesting facts regarding a player’s salary, status and terms of employment. We have a great group of documents for your collecting consideration, all featuring the Toronto Maple Leafs. We have three different Standard Player’s Contracts, for Ken Strong (1982), Vincent Tremblay (1979) and Guy Trottier (1971-72), along with a Standard Assignment Agreement from 1970 for Trottier. We also have a Voluntary Retirement Agreement for Guy Trottier from 1975 along with an Addendum document from 1982 for Ken Strong. Central Registry date stamps are present on each document, with signatures from HOFers Clarence Campbell on the Trottier contract from 1971-72, Punch Imlach on the Tremblay contract and Emile Francis on the Standard Assignment Agreement. The signatures all present beautifully, while the documents exhibit just light handling wear.
