Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
NHL contracts are highly sought after and collected for a number of reasons. They usually offer iron-clad signatures, along with pertinent information that allows one to peruse interesting facts regarding a player’s salary, status and terms of employment. We have a great group of documents for your collecting consideration, all featuring Jack Valiquette and the Toronto Maple Leafs. We have Valiquette’s Standard Player’s Contract from 1974-75, a Standard Assignment Agreement from 1978, a Guarantee and Indemnification Agreement from 1975 and a Bonus Agreement from 1977. The Standard Player’s Contract is for a three-year period, from 1974-75 to and including 1976-77, with a signature present from NHL President and HOFer Clarence Campbell. Each document remains in excellent condition with just expected handling wear (the Bonus Agreement has additional wear along with a tear), while the signatures all present problem-free.
