Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
NHL contracts are highly sought after and collected for a number of reasons. They usually offer iron-clad signatures, along with pertinent information that allows one to peruse interesting facts regarding a player’s salary, status and terms of employment. We have a great group of documents for your collecting consideration, all featuring the Toronto Maple Leafs. We have a Standard Player’s Contract for Ronald Rowe for 1942-43, an agreement memorandum from 1943-44 signed by HOFers Hap Day and Frank Selke, also for Rowe, followed by a pair of Standard Assignment Agreements, one for Church Russell from 1951 signed by Hap Day, along with a specimen for Raymond Timgren from 1954 signed by both Day and fellow HOFer Tommy Ivan. The Day (3), Selke and Ivan signatures are all flawless, while all four documents exhibit just expected handling wear.
