Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Featuring beloved Canadiens icon Guy Lafleur, we have a number of desirable vintage items, including a few interesting signed examples. We have a numbered souvenir career puck, a pair of picture pucks, a retirement night souvenir cap, 30 signed postal covers, a still-sealed Canada Post lithograph, 10 stats posters, 10 Sher-Wood advertising sheets, an advertising card for Lafleur’s retirement luncheon and a program from Guy Lafleur night. The career puck comes in its original display case, and it features embossed imagery of The Flower, along with his number and “1971-1985”. Hand-numbered 46/1010, the puck and case remain in beautiful condition. One souvenir picture puck remains in great condition, while the other is in lower grade. The retirement night cap is in Habs colours, and it features a facsimile signature, and it appears to have never been worn. The signed postal covers feature images of Lafleur and Tim Horton and are roughly 4 ½” x 7 ½”, and included are both sharpie and blue ink Lafleur signatures. The Sher-Wood pictures and stats posters are in excellent condition, with just regular handling wear, while the retirement night program exhibits just a few tiny surface indentations.
