Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A member of the Campbell Conference all-star team in 1988, Bob Probert is best remembered for the punishment he laid out as a prolific fighter and enforcer. We have a pair of Probert items, with a signed Detroit Red Wings jersey, along with a signed store model stick. The jersey is a CCM Center Ice model with tagging along the collar. Styled with an attractive winged-wheel team crest along with tackle twill identifiers, the V-neck sweater also features the alternate’s “A” over the left breast. Probert has signed within the “4” on verso, with the signature flawless, adding “3300 PIMS”. The stick is a Hespeler 5500, modeled after examples used while with Chicago, with “Probert 24” factory graphics. Bob has signed across the front side of the blade with a huge and flowing silver signature, with absolutely no issues. A small plaque has also been affixed at the top of the shaft, erroneously listing “Bob Probert Official Game Stick 1996”.
