Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A Memorial Cup winner in 1989, Sheldon Kennedy was drafted by Detroit 80th overall in 1988, spending 5 seasons with the club in the early-1990s. This Red Wings jersey was worn by the Manitoba native in 1991-92, and it’s been photo-matched. Maska and Eastside labeling remains affixed to the collar along with a size “52” fly tag, with embroidered NHL and CCM patches on the back bottom hem. Styled with tackle twill numbers and letters, the jersey features an attractive and classic winged wheel team crest with the verso letters placed directly onto the sweater. The NHL 75th anniversary patch sits over the right breast, while the fight strap remains intact. A MeiGray COR and letter will accompany, along with an additional LOA.
