A perennial component of Team Canada throughout numerous tournaments, Rick Nash has donned the sacred maple leaf at the World Juniors, World Championships and Winter Olympics, winning gold in the latter in both 2010 and 2014. This Team Canada jersey was worn by the Brampton native at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Nike sizing is screened onto the collar along with an IIHF label, with an additional Nike bar code on the inside hem. Styled with an attractive and partially embroidered Hockey Canada team crest, the solid white garment has been embellished with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Nash” heat-pressed onto the nameplate. Game-wear includes marks over each sleeve, with some sweat/discolouration staining around the collar.
This set of white Nike Swift Team Canada uniforms features ground-breaking technology and was worn by members of the Canadian squad throughout three of the six games in Turin, Italy during the 2006 Winter Olympic Games. The three matches included the exhibition opener, a 7-1 defeat of Italy, the game vs Switzerland on February 18th and the game vs the Russians on February 22nd, 2006.
