Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
During the Canadiens' 2009-10 Centennial celebrations, one of the retro jerseys recreated was that of the Habs second season, the 1910-11 campaign when the team wore red jerseys with a green maple leaf and stylized "C". Offered is Mike Cammalleri’s Canadiens retro jersey he wore in the second and third periods, on November 10, 2009 when the Habs hosted the Calgary Flames at the Bell Centre. Tagged in the collar as a size "52" with a handwritten "1" just above, this Cammalleri gamer has the "1909-2009" Centennial patch sewn on the right shoulder, and includes a "2009-10 Game-Worn Jersey" patch on the inside hem with numbers matching the enclosed LOA signed by head equipment manager Pierre Gervais. Also included is a separate hologram with numbers matching the hologram on the LOA.
With no discernible wear present, the garment remains in beautiful condition.
