Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
The second Heritage Classic game played after a seven-year hiatus, the 2011 installment of the popular event was played in Calgary, with the hometown Flames taking on the historic Montreal Canadiens at McMahon Stadium on February 20th. This Canadiens jersey was worn in the second period of the match by Tomas Plekanec. CCM size tagging along with a Reebok name band are affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the most recognizable crest in hockey, the solid white v-neck has been accented with double twill numbers, along with the crucial 2011 “Classique Heritage” crest just beneath the right shoulder. A MeiGray patch numbered H06905 sits on the inside hem, with an LOA from the Canadiens organization to accompany.
Just a few light stains are present, with one example over the team crest, the other, beneath.
