Lovers of old inserts will be excited about the chance to score, score here, with a wide variety offered, led by PSA-graded material. Bobby Orr, Jean Beliveau and Henri Richard 1968-69 O-Pee-Chee puck stickers are graded NM-MT 8 (OC), with Phil Esposito (EX-MT 6) and Dave Keon (EX 5) examples also present. Encapsulated sticker stamps, originally found in 1970-71 Topps and OPC packs, total 16, with a GEM MT 10 Frank Mahovlich leading the condition parade. Phil Esposito at MINT 9, Hicke and Laperriere at NM-MT 8 and Flett and Joyal at NM 7 are next, with five coming in at EX-MT 6; Orr, Beliveau, Gilbert, Grant and Keon. There’s also Tony “O” and Woytowich (EX 5), Hull (VG-EX+ 4.5), Sanderson (VG-EX 4) and Unger (Good+ 2.5). A single graded 4-in-1 from ’69-70 is slabbed NM 7 and includes Hull, Worsley, Ingarfield and Roberts. Inserted with York peanut butter and nuts are three ’63-64 (“white backs”) that earned marks of EX-MT 6, including #1-Tim Horton, as well as 5-Frank Mahovlich and 33-Dave Balon. Now on to the not-graded goodies, with 11 York white backs mostly featuring staining and/or light creasing, but with an EX Beliveau. Half a dozen puck stickers average EX and are 1-Mikita, 6-Worsley, 9-Gilbert, 10-Crozier, 15-Plante and 16-Stanley, while a crease or more is spotted in seven of nine 4-in-1s. Sixteen sticker stamps are mostly in the EX neighborhood, with Howe, Mikita, Lemaire and Giacomin leading the lineup. A dozen Deckle Edge cards feature mostly commons and average EX, with ten 4-in-1 albums in various conditions. Complete sets of ’71-72 Booklets (English – VG to EX) and ’72-73 Players Crests (VG to EX) are present, with a near set (24/28) of ’72-73 Team Canada inserts mostly VG to VG+. Ten intact team logos, five ’73-74 Rings and eight intact panels of ’73-74 WHA Quaker Oats cards complete the intriguing years-in-the-making hoard, bound to provide the new owner with plenty of fun!
