At the height of his game, Eric Lindros was Canada’s captain for the NHL’s first participation in the Olympic Games in Nagano, Japan in 1998. The Big E’s 1998 Team Canada Bauer game-worn gloves have nice game wear and are photo-matched to the Olympics by a distinctive mark on the thumb of the right glove. Eric’s No. “88” is handwritten in black marker along with “1” on the Supreme tagging of the inner cuff of each customized glove, with “Lindros” handwritten as well across the top of the left glove’s tag. His Team Canada 1998 Bauer Supreme game-used stick has “E. Lindros” stamped on the shaft and his original tape jobs. Comes with a signed LOA from Eric Lindros.
The photo match on the glove shows in Getty Images #576827672, where you can see on the thumb of the right glove the distinctive wear pattern in the word "Bauer" of the "Bauer Lock Thumb" lettering at the tip of the thumb. The gloves have a few customizations, including shortened cuffs with the trim hand sewn, and fabric cut off the inner cuff that exposes the white foam padding.
Lindros’ solid and crack-free game-used stick displays nice game use with marks on the shaft and blade, which has small chips on the top edge before and after Eric’s small tape job in the middle.
