The New York Islanders remain as one of the only clubs to win 4 consecutive Stanley Cups in the 120 plus years the Lord’s hardware has been contested. Featuring the boys from Long Island, we have a collection of New York Islanders game-worn items, totaling 5 and spanning from roughly the 1970s to 1999. Included are a pair of helmets, with an example from the 1970s, along with a helmet worn by Brian Berard in 1998-99, followed by a pair of gloves worn by Robert Reichel between 1997 and 1999. There are also two pairs of uniform pants, with an example donned by Rich Pilon during his time with the club in the 1990s. An LOA will accompany the Berard helmet.
The breakdown for each of the offered items is as follows: 1) Robert Reichel’s New York Islanders game-worn gloves. Louisville TPS models in solid blue with white accents, “Reichel” appears embroidered onto each, with all identifiers screened on. Nice use is exhibited, with wear to the palms of each. 2) Bryan Berard’s 1998-99 New York Islanders game-worn helmet. A Bauer HH4000 model in solid blue, “Islanders” appears over the forehead, with team decals along each side. “34” has been placed along the reverse, with an NHL shield logo over the bottom right. Nice use is shown on the head gear, with scratches and abrasions present. 3) 1970s New York Islanders game-worn helmet. With intact padding and strapping, the helmet remains in very good condition. 4) Rich Pilon’s New York Islanders game-worn pants.
