Members of the American League since the inaugural season of 1901, the Baltimore Orioles have won a total of 9 Division Titles along with three Fall Classic championships, in 1966, 1970 and 1983. We have a collection of 4 game-worn Orioles jerseys for your consideration, spanning from 1975 to 1989. Included are examples worn by Ken Singleton in 1975, Ron Jackson in 1984, and Greg Olson in 1989. A second jersey from the 1989 season has been donned by Stanley Jefferson. A COA for the Jackson jersey will accompany this desirable lot.
The breakdown for each of the offered items is as follows: 1) Ken Singleton’s 1975/76 Baltimore Orioles game-worn alternate jersey. A partial Wilson tag remains affixed to the collar, with no labeling along the front tail. “Orioles” appears across the chest in dual-colour tackle twill, with matching style “29” on front and verso. Nice use is exhibited, with no unsightly marks. 2) Stanley Jefferson’s 1989 Baltimore Orioles game-worn alternate jersey. A Rawlings label sits along the inside front tail along with a set tag of “Set 1 1989” and “2 inch extra length” tag. “Orioles” appears across the chest in dual-colour tackle twill, with matching style “49” on front and verso. Nice use is exhibited, with just a few small random marks present. 3) Greg Olson’s 1989 Baltimore Orioles game-worn alternate home jersey. A Rawlings label sits along the inside front tail along with a set tag of “Set 1 1989”. “Orioles” appears across the chest in dual-colour tackle twill, with matching style “49” on front and verso. A few small stains are present near the front numbers, with some slight puckering to the numbers on verso. 4) Ron Jackson’s 1984 Baltimore Orioles game-worn jersey. A label from Medalist resides on the front tail, with a year swatch of “84 42” affixed along the inside of the reverse tail. Styled with “Orioles” across the chest in dual-colour tackle twill, the button-up has also been accented with matching front and verso numbers, with “Jackson” arching across the nameplate. We should also note evidence of a patch removal from the left sleeve. With just some slight fraying to the front and verso numbers, the jersey remains in beautiful condition.
