Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

Not overly venerated for their diamond exploits, the Canadian Olympic Baseball Team are currently ranked 6th in the world at the time of this writing, with some success previously, including gold medals at the Pan Am games in both 2011 and 2015. We have a nice pair of game-worn items hailing from the Canadian Olympic Baseball Team, with a pair of jerseys, with an example worn by David Wainhouse in 1988, along with a jersey donned by Aaron Myette in 2004. We also have an additional jersey along with a batting helmet from the Northwest League’s Vancouver Canadians. Both Canadian Olympic jerseys feature tagging along the collar, Wilson for the Wainhouse example and Majestic for the Myette jersey, with “Canada” across the chest of each in dual-colour tackle twill, with verso numbers in matching material. The Myette jersey remains in gorgeous condition, while the Wainhouse example exhibits staining along the collar and lower front. The Canadians jersey has Wilson size tagging along the collar, with “Canadians” across the chest in alternating colours, with “18” on the lower front and verso in matching material. Lastly, the helmet was produced by Rawlings, with all padding intact. A Canadians decal sits across the front, with “3” along the reverse left. Heavy use is exhibited, with considerable marks present throughout the top sections. LOAs will accompany the Canadian Olympic jerseys.
