Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Featuring the Milwaukee Brewers, we have a group of two game-worn Brewers jerseys, with examples worn by Ben Ogilvie in 1982 - a season that saw the club advance to the World Series, and Billy Joe Robidoux in 1988. The Robidoux jersey features Rawlings labeling along the lower front, with a date tag of “Set 1 1988” and “88 Robidoux”, while the Ogilvie example exhibits “Ogilvie” chain-stitched along the collar, with a label on the lower front from Medalist, along with a date/set swatch of “82-1”. Both garments have been styled with dual-layer tackle twill team crests with matching front and verso numbers, with “Milwaukee” in script on the Ogilvie jersey and “Brewers” arching over the chest on the Robidoux example.
The Ogilvie jersey exhibits a few small and faint stains just above the team crest, while the example worn by Joe Robidoux remains clean with no unsightly wear.
