Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
The coveted MLB 100th Anniversary patch sits on the right sleeve of right-hander Bob Miller’s 1969 AL West champion Minnesota Twins 1969 game-worn flannel jersey. Miller started for Minnesota in Game 3 of the first American League Championship Series at Metropolitan Stadium, which saw Baltimore complete a series sweep to win the AL pennant. Miller’s pinstriped home gamer with wear to the middle of the Twins patch on the left sleeve has no alterations and is all original, including the swatch with “Miller” embroidered in navy blue thread sewn into the back of the collar, and Wilson size 42 tagging and a “42-1969 Set 2” swatch on the left front tail. Comes with an LOA.
There are some light brown stains above the navy-on-red double twill No. 42 sewn on the back.
