Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
The DH for the Texas Rangers in 1973, switch hitter Bill Sudakis made his MLB debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1969, spending four seasons with the club. The Illinois native was also the last Dodgers rookie to homer in four consecutive games until Joc Pederson in 2015, achieving the feat the very season he wore the offered jersey. A "W.A. Goodman & Sons" label rests over the front left tail, along with “Sudakis 43/3 Set A-69” chain-stitched directly below. Styled with “Dodgers” in their familiar script across the chest in navy felt, “16” is repeated beneath and on verso in matching material along with the MLB 100th anniversary crest over the left sleeve. The all-original off-white flannel displays beautifully, with some light spot staining to the lower front and over the reverse collar. An LOA will accompany.
