Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

A rock-solid fielder with Rawlings Gold Glove Awards from 1998 through 2007, Andruw Jones spent short stints with a number of clubs, with the bulk of his career spent with the Atlanta Braves. Presented, we have a signed Braves jersey worn by the Curaçao native on Sept 11th 2004, along with a game-used bat. Russell labeling is affixed on the lower front along with a date patch of “2004”, with additional +2” Extra Length and +2 Sleeve Length tags. Featuring “Braves” across the chest in dual-colour tackle twill, the white button-up has also been accented with matching verso number, along with the “21” memorial crest over the left sleeve to honour HOFer Warren Spahn. The bat is a 34” Rawlings Big Stick with “Andruw Jones” on the barrel and “460B” on the knob.
Free of any unsightly wear, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. Jones has signed along the middle of the “2” on verso, and the signature displays well. A hologram numbered MT00477661 has been affixed from the MLB, with information from the database stating use for the garment in a Sept 11th contest against Montreal. The bat shows great use, with wear including ball marks to the barrel. A piece of paper has been affixed along the top of the barrel with “Andruw Jones” written along with a short notation.
