Drafted by both the NHL and WHA in 1973, Ian Turnbull would spend parts of 10 seasons in the NHL, with the majority of his career spent with Toronto. This Maple Leafs jersey was worn by the defenceman in 1979-80, with a number of team repairs present. A Maska Superfil label sits along the collar, with a pair of additional rubberized Maska crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with a partially embroidered team crest, the durene V-neck has been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with alternate crests over each shoulder. As mentioned, this jersey has a number of team repairs, with 3 on the lower front, 1 on the reverse and 4 over the right sleeve. An LOA will accompany this attractive Leafs gamer.
The jersey exhibits nice additional wear, with marks present along with some paint transfer on the reverse of the lower striping band.
