A second round draft choice of the Philadelphia Flyers in 1984, defenceman Jeff Chychrun spent 8 seasons in the NHL, skating for Edmonton, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles and Philadelphia. This Flyers jersey was worn by the LaSalle native in 1987-88 when he only played in three games for the club, and it’s accompanied by three pairs of Flyers uniform socks along with pants worn by John LeClair. Maska Air-Knit labeling remains affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest on the back bottom hem. Featuring the classic “Winged P” team crest in tri-colour tackle twill, the white V-neck has been accented with black piping along with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Chychrun” across the nameplate. Some spot staining is present along the lower front, with some puckering to the team crest. The LeClair pants are Bauer models in solid black, with an embroidered identifier along the front left pant leg, along with an NHL crest on the reverse of the right. “10” is also handwritten along the waistband, with heavy use exhibited on the pants including numerous marks. The uniform socks total 3 pairs, with each featuring handwritten numbers including “13”, “33” or “55”. Each show nice use, with two of the pair’s featuring team repairs.
