Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Hailing from the 1998 Stanley Cup playoffs, we have a Phoenix Coyotes alternate captain’s jersey worn by Bob Corkum, along with additional Coyotes game-worn pants, a helmet and uniform socks. Center Ice labeling along with a “54-R” size swatch sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered Starter and NHL crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with a thick and attractive Coyotes team crest, the black V-neck has been embellished with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with a “Goals for Kids” crest over the left shoulder. A few random dark marks are present on the garment, including over the reverse numbers, with a few faint board burns also visible. We should note that the “Black Set 3” jersey also sports the team patch along the inside hem. The Coyotes helmet was worn by Brad Isbister in 1997-98. A CCM model in solid black, with Coyotes decals on each side, along with “16” over the reverse. With all the padding and strapping present, the helmet exhibits heavy use, with a ton of marks, scratches and abrasions present. Next, the Coyotes pants are Tackla models, with a Coyotes crest over the left pant leg along with an NHL shield crest. Marks are present on the front and reverse, with a small hole on the upper left pant leg. Lastly, the uniform socks are solid white with red, green and black striping bands, with nice use shown including team repairs. An LOA will accompany the Corkum jersey along with a COR from MeiGray.
