Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

Drafted 71st overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, Aaron Asham spent parts of 4 seasons with the club before moving on to the New York Islanders in 2002-03. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Portage la Prairie native in 1999-00, and it’s been signed. Pro Player tagging sits along the collar, with embroidered NHL and Pro Player crests on the back bottom hem. Fashioned with the most famous team crest in hockey partially embroidered over the chest, the white V-neck has been embellished with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the NHL 2000 crest over the right breast. Aaron has signed within the “4” on verso, with the signature blending into the material somewhat. A number of random dark marks are present, with board burns and paint transfer over the left sleeve. As an added bonus, we also have a pair of game-worn Canadiens gloves from the 1990s. Sher-Wood models in Habs red, white and blue, identifiers are screened-on, with great use exhibited, with heavy wear to the leather along with small holes in each palm. The middle finger on the left glove has almost become detached.
