Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A 1989 draft choice of the New York Rangers, Jim Cummins dressed for a number of clubs throughout his NHL career including Chicago, Detroit, Montreal, Anaheim and Colorado. This Avalanche alternate jersey was worn by the Michigan native in 2003-04. Size tagging is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and KOHO crests on the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Featuring “Colorado” diagonally across the chest in tri-colour tackle twill, the “Third Set 1” tie-neck also sports matching sleeve and verso numbers, with a pair of team crests over each shoulder. With just very light use exhibited including burns near the left sleeve’s number, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. We should also note that 2 pairs of Avalanche socks worn by unknown players are also included, and they both show nice use with marks and repairs present. A MeiGray patch numbered B02445 has been affixed to the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
