Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Currently an assistant coach with the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League, Pascal Rheaume spent parts of 10 seasons in the NHL, winning a Cup with New Jersey in 2003. This Atlanta Thrashers jersey was worn by the Quebec native in 2002-03, with the added bonus of a second Thrashers jersey that has been team-signed in 2001-02. Size tagging is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with a large and attractive multi-coloured Thrashers team crest, the V-neck has also been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests placed over each shoulder. A number of dark marks are visible over the front and sleeves, with board burns also present, along with small resulting holes over each elbow. A pair of team repairs are also visible over the lower right sleeve, with each cuff customized, and “turned-in”. A MeiGray patch numbered A06148 has been placed on the inside hem for assured authenticity. The signed jersey is a CCM souvenir example, with full team crest and matching alternate shoulder patches. 25 have signed around the team crest in black marker with Dany Heatley, David Harlock, Ray Ferraro, Tony Hrkac, Brian Pothier, Tomi Kallio and others. The signatures display well, with very little bleeding or fading. A COA will accompany the signed jersey.
