Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
An AHCA East First-Team All-American in 1997-98, defenceman Tom Poti was drafted 59th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 1996, spending four seasons in Alberta before moving onto the Rangers and Capitals. From his only season on Long Island, we have a New York Islanders jersey worn by the Worcester native in 2006-07. Reebok size tagging is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the iconic Long Island team crest partially embroidered in tri-colour tackle twill, the orange tie-neck “third” jersey has been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with the Bob Bourne HOF patch over the right breast. With just a few burns over the right cuff, the jersey remains in beautiful condition. A patch from MeiGray numbered D05097 sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
