The 42nd overall pick in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft chosen by the New York Islanders, Gord Dineen would see action in parts of 13 NHL seasons, including with the Islanders, Senators, North Stars and Penguins. This Islanders jersey was worn by the Toronto native in 1984-85, his second full season with the club. Pedersons tagging is affixed to the collar with handwritten “2”, with a second Pedersons crest embroidered onto the back bottom hem. Styled with the iconic Long Island team crest in tri-colour tackle twill, the mesh V-neck has also been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with “Dineen” across the nameplate in single twill. The garment also sports custom-shortened sleeves.
Nice wear is present on the jersey with some loose threading in spots, along with dark marks over the right sleeve.
