It’s not often that items representing North America’s past and present football leagues are offered together, with this lot containing 13 items from the NFL, CFL, USFL and NCAA, making it the perfect grouping for any wide-ranging gridiron collection. We have jerseys from the Hamilton Tiger Cats, New York Giants (2), Buffalo Bills, Columbia University Lions, Houston Gamblers (matching pants included) and Kansas City Chiefs, followed by uniform pants from the Tennessee Titans, Columbia Lions, New York Giants, Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs. LOAs/COAs will accompany both Giants jerseys and pants.
The breakdown for each of the offered items is as follows: 1) Late-1980s/early-1990s Hamilton Tiger Cats game-worn jersey. A Speedline tag remains along the lower front, with all numbers and accents rubberized, including Tiger Cat logos over each sleeve. The nameplate has been removed, with thorough wear present, with some heavy wear over the left shoulder along with a pair of repairs over the right. 2) Kevin McLain’s 1984 Houston Gamblers game-worn jersey. Russell size tagging appears on the lower front, with “50” on front and verso in matching rubberized material. With just light wear present, the jersey remains in beautiful condition. 3) Kevin McLain’s 1984 Houston Gamblers game-worn uniform pants. Labels from Medalist and Oshman’s sit affixed to the waistband, with an intact belt. The pants remain in excellent condition, with just a few small random marks present. 4) Howard Cross' 1995 NY Giants game-worn jersey. A Reebok model with “95” date swatch on the lower front, there is also an embroidered NFL crest over the front neckline. Styled with dual-colour front, sleeve and verso numbers, “Cross” appears across the nameplate in tackle twill. Moderate wear is visible over the right shoulder, with a small patch of blue paint transfer. 5) Sean Landeta’s 1990s NY Giants game-worn jersey. With just embroidered crests from the NFL and Apex present, the jersey has been styled with rubberized front, sleeve and reverse numbers, with “Landeta” over the nameplate. The bottom of the jersey has been trimmed, with this the only issue present. 6) Kent Graham’s 1998 NY Giants game-worn pants. Reebok models with size labeling along the waistband, “57” and “Miller” have been crossed out, with “10” and “Graham” written beneath verifying recycled use by Graham. With just a few random marks present, the pants remain in excellent condition. 7) Corey Moore’s 2001 Buffalo Bills game-worn home jersey. A Reebok model with labeling on the lower front along with “01 44” date swatch affixed to the collar, there is also an embroidered NFL crest over the front neckline. Styled with matching dual-colour front, sleeve and verso numbers, “Moore” appears across the nameplate in matching material. 8) Wendell Bryant’s 2001 Arizona Cardinals game-worn pants. “91” is handwritten along the waistband along with “101” and “38”, with an embroidered NFL Equipment crest at the top of the left pant leg. Great use is exhibited, with a number of marks present on both the front and reverse. 9) Darren Anderson’s 1997 Kansas City Chiefs game-worn home jersey. Reebok size tagging is affixed to the collar with a second Pro Line/NFL label on the lower front, with an embroidered NFL crest over the front neckline. Styled with dual-colour tackle twill front, sleeve and verso numbers, with “Anderson” over the nameplate in matching material. With just light wear present, the jersey remains in wonderful condition. 10) Kansas City Chiefs game-worn home pants. Wilson sizing is affixed to the waistband, with “56” crossed out and “68” handwritten. With an intact belt, the pants remain in excellent condition. 11) Robaire Smith’s 2003 Tennessee Titans game-worn home pants. Reebok sizing if affixed to the waistband with “Big Boy” tag, and “98” written close-by. An NFL Equipment logo is also present, with nice use exhibited with wear to the threading along the waist. 12) Columbia University Lions game-worn jersey. A Wilson label is affixed to the collar with “50” size tag, with the front, sleeve and verso drop-shadow numbers all rubberized. Nice wear is present, with the rubberized sleeve bands having lost their elasticity over time. 13) Columbia University Lions game-worn pants. A Wilson label is affixed to the waistband, with “73” and “93” crossed out, near “51” handwritten. With no unsightly wear or marks, the pants remains in beautiful condition.
