A franchise that can trace their roots back to the Victorian era, the Atlanta Braves (since 1966) have won a combined 17 Division Titles (East and West) along with a World Series championship in 1995. We have a collection of 11 game-worn Braves items, spanning from the 1980s to 2006. Included are jerseys worn by Pete Smith in 1990, Marcus Giles and Chris Reitsma in 2005, and Todd Pratt in 2006, followed by uniform pants worn by Keith Mitchell in 1993, Anthony Sanders in 1996, Bobby Cox in 2006 and Todd Pratt. Next, we have a batting helmet worn by Mark Lemke, a bat used by Fred McGriff and a pair of Braves stirrups from the 1980s. LOAs will accompany the Pratt jersey and pants along with the stirrup socks and Cox pants.
The breakdown for each of the offered items is as follows: 1) Pete Smith’s 1990 Atlanta Braves game-worn road jersey. A Wilson size label is affixed to the lower front, with a date swatch of “90”. Styled with “Atlanta” across the chest in dual-layer tackle twill, the Braves 25th anniversary patch resides over the left sleeve. With just some light spotting around the collar, the jersey remains in beautiful condition. 2) Marcus Giles’ 2005 Atlanta Braves game-worn road jersey. Majestic labeling resides along the lower front tail with “46 05 S2”. Featuring “Atlanta” across the chest in dual-layer tackle twill, the grey button-up includes matching verso number with “Giles’ placed across the nameplate in single twill. Nice wear is exhibited with no unsightly marks. 3) Chris Reitsma’s 2005 Atlanta Braves game-worn alternate jersey. Majestic labeling resides along the lower front tail with “50 05 2”. Featuring “Braves” across the chest in dual-layer tackle twill, the solid red button-up includes matching verso number with “Reitsma’ placed across the nameplate in single twill. Light wear is exhibited, with the jersey remaining in excellent condition. 4) Todd Pratt’s 2006 Atlanta Braves signed and game-worn 1975 throwback road jersey. Majestic labeling sits on the lower front, along with a size “50” fly tag. Styled with “Braves” across the chest in three-colour tackle twill with matching chest and verso number, the throwback V-neck also features alternate crests over each sleeve. Pratt has signed along the top of the “5” on verso, with some light bleeding of the signature into the material. 5) Fred McGriff’s game-used bat. A 35” Louisville Slugger signature model, “C271” is stamped onto the barrel along with “Atlanta Braves”. “27” has been handwritten onto the knob, with the bat showing heavy use including an H-shaped handle crack. 6) Todd Pratt’s Atlanta Braves game-worn and signed uniform pants. Majestic labeling resides along the waistband, with a date/size swatch of “5 Pratt 38-42 34 OB 1975”. Pratt has signed along the top of the left pant leg, with nice use showing, including some light staining to the reverse. 7) Keith Mitchell’s 1993 Atlanta Braves game-worn uniform pants. Russell labeling resides along the waistband, with a date/size swatch of “17 Mitchell 32-29-93”. With just light use exhibited, the pants remain in excellent condition. 8) Bobby Cox’ 2006 Atlanta Braves game-worn and signed uniform pants. Majestic labeling resides along the waistband, with a date/size swatch of “6 Cox 40-44 25 1975”. With a few random marks and stains, Cox has signed along the back left pocket, and the signature display well. 9) Anthony Sanders 1996 Atlanta Braves game-worn uniform pants. Wilson tagging resides along the waistband, with a date/size swatch of “31 96 4 27”. Great use is visible, with a large repair over the left pant leg. 10) Mark Lemke’s Atlanta Braves game-worn helmet. An ABC model with Braves decal along the front, “20” resides along the back portion, with joint Canadian and American flag decals. Heavy use is exhibited, with an interior pad detached but present. 11) 1980s Atlanta Braves game-worn stirrups. Solid blue and hailing from the 1980s, the stirrups show nice use.
