Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
One of the NHL’s most prestigious trophies, the Art Ross is awarded annually to the player leading the league in points at the conclusion of the NHL season. First presented in 1947-48, Patrick Kane is the current holder. We have a stunning photo of the famous trophy, and it’s been signed by 8 past recipients. At 16” x 20”, the glossy print features a full colour image of the award, with signatures on each side administered in silver paint pen, with each listing their respective winning season(s). Included from top to bottom, left to right are Jean Beliveau HOF (D. 2014), Elmer Lach HOF (D. 2015), Ted Lindsay HOF, Marcel Dionne HOF, Bobby Hull HOF, Guy Lafleur HOF, Dickie Moore HOF (D. 2015) and Phil Esposito HOF. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
The signatures display extremely well with no issues to report, while the photo itself exhibits some light wear in spots, along with a few touches to a couple of corners.
