Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A current Stanley Cup champion and always a threat to goaltenders, Evgeni Malkin has put together some impressive seasons since his rookie campaign in 2006-07, including 2011-12 with the Russian superstar the recipient of the Art Ross, Hart Memorial and Ted Lindsay Award. This stick was used by the Magnitogorsk native in 2011-12, and it’s been signed. An Easton RS model with subtle grey and yellow accents, “71 Gino” factory graphics appear on the upper shaft, with the stick retaining its tape on the handle and blade. Nice use is exhibited, with puck marks on both sides of the blade along with a few abrasions to the lower shaft. Malkin has added a silver paint pen signature across the heel section, and it displays well. A hologram has been affixed, with a COA to accompany.
Malkin would score an impressive 109 points in 2011-12, which included 50 goals along with 59 assists in 75 games played.
