Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Representing each of the major North American football leagues, we have a pair of jerseys including a game-worn example from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, along with a signed Green Bay Packers jersey. The Bombers' jersey originates from the mid-to-late-1980s, and was worn by linebacker Delbert Fowler. A Champion model with embroidered patch over the right breast, the mesh jersey features rubberized front and verso numbers, along with Bomber logos over each sleeve. “Fowler” appears screened directly onto the nameplate, with the bottom of the jersey trimmed away. Some wear is present to the identifiers, with a few marks present including a small stain on the lower front. The Packers jersey has been signed by quarterback Henry Burris, with a Nike Pro Line cloth label on the lower front, the jersey also sports an embroidered NFL crest on the front neckline. “10” appears on the sleeves, front and verso along with “Burris” over the nameplate. The two-time Grey Cup champion has signed along the top portion of the “0” on the reverse in black marker, adding his number. With absolutely no issues, the signature and jersey remain in gorgeous condition.
