Encapsulated Canadian Football League cards to pique your interest here, with the group dominated by (77) examples from 1972. We’ll start chronologically though, with the 1960s’ lineup featuring a lone 1962 Topps CFL two-card panel picturing 42-Gino Fracas and 43-Don Getty and slabbed NM 7. Fifteen cards from 1963 include #46-Milton Crain at MINT 9 (OC) and another ten looking terrific in NM-MT 8 holders; 4-Beamer, 9-Dennis, 24-Getty (2), 36-Cureton, 41-Clark, 69-Mann, 71-Stoneburgh, 75-Nykoluk and 76-Radzick. Four NM 7s complete the group of ‘63s; 15-Luzzi, 18-Holmes, 46-Crain and 72-Exelby. Sharp and colorful 1965 cards total five and include three at MINT 9 (OC); 20-Furlong, 107-Mann and 120-Gray, with 7-Fieldgate and 42-Stinnette coming in at NM 7. And now, on to the intriguing 1972 O-Pee-Chee hoard which includes plenty of duplication and, get this, only MINT 9 grades – nice! The lineup, in numerical order with the number of duplicates in brackets, includes #2, 10 (3), 16 (3), 19-Evanshen (2), 20-Fairholm (3), 23 (3), 28-Barton (3), 35, 41 (2), 42-Hunsperger (4), 43 (3), 44 (2), 51, 56-Robinson (2), 61 (4), 63, 64 (2), 65, 68 (4), 77 (2), 79-Lancaster (with (OC) qualifier), 84, 86, 87 (3), 88 (4), 96-Cutler (2), 102 (3), 103, 104 (3), 112 (3), 113 (2), 117 (2), 118 (2), 122 and 125. Some of these are second-to-none on their respective “lines” of the PSA Population Report. Have fun checking it all out while considering this dandy encapsulated CFL stash.
