A couple interesting pairs make up this lot, with Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox batting helmets, along with two baseballs signed by former Marlins pitcher and 2003 World Series champion Dontrelle Willis. 1) Baltimore Orioles batting helmet. A Rawlings model with sizing sticker intact along with manufacturer’s decals and MLB hologram, “18” appears along the back with an MLB sticker, with the Orioles front decal in place. Heavy use is exhibited, with considerable wear, dirt and scratches present, along with some paint transfer centered on the reverse. 2) Boston Red Sox batting helmet. An American Baseball Cap model with intact sizing sticker, “IV” is handwritten along the head padding, with a manufacturer’s decal present. “18” appears on the back left in Sox colours, with the front Boston logo in place. Good use is exhibited, with dirt staining along with heavy scratches/abrasions across the top section. A considerable piece of the brim has also been broken off on the right side. 3) Dontrelle Willis signed ball. A Rawlings Official 2003 World Series ball, the logo from the Series appears in gold, with Willis signing just below in ballpoint, adding both his number and “W.S. Champs”. Hand numbered “19/100”, the ball remains in beautiful condition, with a hologram affixed from Authentic Sports Investments numbered 41717. 4) Dontrelle Willis signed ball. A Rawlings Official Major League ball, Dontrelle has added a signature to the sweetspot, with some career stats listed above and below including strikeouts and ERA. Hand-numbered “11/35”, a hologram from Authentic Sports Investments numbered 41792 has been affixed.
