Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
This historically significant Montreal Forum seat was removed from the famous arena after the final game was played there on March 11, 1996, and it’s been signed by legendary HOFer Guy Lafleur. The original number “10” remains stenciled in red on the seatback, along with the section and row, with a CH decal on the right side. Traces of blue and white paint are visible along the sides, with the seat’s leather covering intact. Lafleur has signed along the middle potion of the seatback, adding his Cup years and HOF induction date. All set for display with sturdy aluminum-alloy footing included, an LOA from the Canadiens organization for the seat (not the signature) will accompany.
The seat suffers from obvious issues associated with decades of use, with wear to the paint and finish, along with some denting to the underside of the seat.
