Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

Bobby Orr usually comes to mind with the mention of the number "4", but these "four" conjure up images of another legendary Bruins' d-man; the great Raymond Bourque. Described on the reverse of his 1980-81 rookie card as "An excellent puck-handler and strong skater, he shows great deal of poise for a youngster," Ray launched an illustrious two decade-plus career by being named NHL rookie-of-the-year. It didn't end until he had scored more than 400 regular season goals! Two rookie cards here, one NM and the other EX-MT, are superior to the other two, the latter at EX (OC) and then EX+, but miscut. RAY! RAY! RAY!
