Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

A scout currently for the Carolina Hurricanes, Sergei Samsonov spent the majority of his 13 NHL seasons in Boston, later making a 63-game appearance for Montreal in the mid-2000s. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Russian star in the 7th annual Hall of Fame Game that took place on Nov 11th 2006. Size tagging resides along the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the classic CH team crest that’s been partially embroidered, the solid red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the important “Hall of Fame Game” crest over the right breast. With no discernible game-wear, the jersey remains in beautiful condition, ideal for display. A MeiGray patch numbered D00329 sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
