Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A 1994 NHL Entry Draft selection, Swedish netminder Johan Hedberg spent a baker’s dozen in the world’s greatest hockey league, seeing action with a number of clubs including Atlanta, Dallas and New Jersey. This Devils jersey was worn by the Nacka native in his very last NHL contest, in 2012-13, and it’s been photo-matched. “Goalie Style” size tagging is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with an attractive Devils’ team crest fashioned completely from tackle twill, the solid white V-neck has been embellished with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers in matching material. A MeiGray patch numbered JH00949 sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White Set 2" example. Comes with a team LOA.
Game-wear includes marks over the upper right sleeve along with a small example along the right side of the team crest. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, Getty Image #167666780 from April 27th 2013 has been matched to the black mark near the number on the right sleeve.
