HOF defenseman Scott Niedermayer wore this 2010 Olympics captain’s gamer for Canada’s tournament-opening 8-0 win against Norway on February 16 at Vancouver’s Canada Hockey Place. Niedermayer assisted on Ryan Getzlaf’s goal early in the third period as Canada began its run to its second Olympic gold medal since NHL players began to take part in 1998. Size 60 game-worn jersey by Nike has IIHF tagging in the neck, the Vancouver 2010 logo patch sewn on the left sleeve, Nike barcode heat-screened inside the left rear hem, and the COC patch sewn on the right rear tail. Best of obviously limited game wear are marks on the rear tail, a faint black mark low on the right sleeve and a small mark near the left cuff. Comes with a Hockey Canada LOA.
