Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Celebrating the 100th birthday of the most popular hockey team in the world, this Montreal Canadiens “1945-46” centennial jersey was worn by Ryan O’Byrne in a contest against Philadelphia on Nov 15th 2008. CCM size tagging sits along the collar with handwritten “1”, with NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Featuring the sacred CH team logo, the “Set 1” jersey has been accented with attractive three-layer twill numbers, with the Canadiens centennial patch over the right shoulder. The team patch numbered A01332 has been placed on the inside hem, and a hologram from the Canadiens organization has been affixed to the back number “3”. Game-wear on the garment is light, with just a few random marks present. An LOA from the Canadiens organization will accompany.
