Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Nicknamed “Chief” due to his part Ojibway mother, George Armstrong would play in parts of 21 seasons with the Maple Leafs, with his 1,187 NHL games the most by any player in Toronto history. We have an especially attractive display piece for your consideration, featuring a gorgeous signature of the HOFer. A full colour image of the long-time captain resides on the left side of the display, along with some of his stats, with his “10” in tackle twill affixed to the right. Armstrong has signed across the “1” in white paint pen, with the flowing signature large, bold and aesthetically pleasing. Framed to total dimensions of roughly 18 ¾” x 32 ¾”, the display remains in gorgeous condition, ready to dominate any wall is appears on. An LOA from JSA will accompany.
