Finishing second during the regular season behind the New York Rangers in 1941-42, the Toronto Maple Leafs would then send the Rangers packing in six games in the semi-finals before beating the Red Wings in an exciting 7-game finals, culminating in the club’s fourth Stanley Cup. Presented is an attractive mini-stick that has been team-signed by the 1941-42 Leafs. At 16” in length, the one-piece hockey stick features “Stanley Cup 1941 2” in flawless silver foil on the front side, with 20 gorgeous pencil signatures on the reverse. 5 HOFers are included, with Turk Broda, Sweeney Schriner, Syl Apps, Gordie Drillon and coach Hap Day. Both the signatures and the stick itself remain in remarkable condition, ideal for prominent display. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
The other team members that have signed this stunning 1941-42 Leafs stick are Taylor, Carr, Langelle, Goldup, Davidson, McCreedy, McDonald, Goldham, Kampman, Stanowski, Dickens, Hamilton, Stewart and Nick and Don Metz. We should also note a circular hole midway down the shaft, most likely from a former mounting.
