Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Originally a product of the Val-d'Or Foreurs in the Q, Roberto Luongo spent eight productive seasons in Vancouver, and he’s also won gold with Team Canada in the World Cup, World Championships and at the Olympics. This Canucks jersey was worn by the Montreal native in 2007-08, his second season with the club. The proper “Goalie Style” and CCM size tagging is affixed to the collar, with partially embroidered NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with tackle twill team letters, numbers and name-on-nameplate, the “Blue Set 3” garment also features the attractive team crest that first saw use this very season. “1 Luongo” has also been handwritten on the fight strap. A MeiGray patch numbered E05481 sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
Game-wear on the attractive jersey includes a small mark on the team crest, along with additional random examples over the right sleeve. There is also a few fabric pulls, including an example just above the team crest.
