Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

Featuring the current Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins, we have a pair of rookie camp jerseys, including an example worn by Nathan Moon in 2008-09, along with a jersey worn by Keven Veilleux in 2010-11. A stylistically-matched pair, size tagging from CCM sits affixed to the collars (size 58-Veilleux with handwritten “R.C.” and size 56-Moon), with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests gracing the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring large and partially embroidered Penguins team crests, the V-neck sweaters have been accented with textured tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching-style letters over the nameplates. The team patches are located on the inside hem, and they divulge the Moon jersey as a “2008 Rookie Camp Set” example, while the team patch on the Veilleux jersey states “2010 Rookie Camp Set”. Equipment manager Dana Heinze has also signed each fight strap. The Moon jersey exhibits a few fabric pulls over each sleeve, along with some surface wear to the team crest, while the Veilleux example shows a board burn with small resulting hole over the right sleeve. An LOA from the Penguins organization will accompany each jersey.
