Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Featuring the current Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins, we have a pair of London Ontario rookie camp jerseys, including an example worn by Taylor Peters in 2010-11, along with a jersey worn by Scott Simmonds in 2013-14. A stylistically-matched pair, size tagging from CCM sits affixed to the collars (size 58-Peters and size 56-Simmonds), with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests gracing the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring large and partially embroidered Penguins team crests, the V-neck sweaters have been accented with textured tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching-style letters over the nameplates. The team patches are located on the inside hem, and they divulge the Peters jersey as a “2010 Rookie Camp Set” example, while the team patch on the Simmonds jersey states “2013 Official Rookie Tournament Jersey”. Equipment manager Dana Heinze has also signed each fight strap. Visible game-wear on the pair is very light, with just a few noticeable marks on the sleeves of each, and they both remain in gorgeous condition. An LOA from the Penguins organization will accompany each jersey.
