Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
From the youngest member to ever be enshrined in hockey’s house of holy, we have a stick issued to legendary defenceman Bobby Orr during the mid-1970s. A Victoriaville model, “Bobby Orr” and “4” (in red) are stamped onto the upper shaft. Featuring a slight left curve, the stick is currently void of its striping accents, with “Made in Canada” appearing along the topside of the shaft. There is a very slight separation along the heel section that is barely noticeable, with this doing absolutely nothing to infringe upon the stick’s integrity of display value. With game-used examples being quite scarce and lofty in price, this stick is an ideal substitute, and will augment any collection of important Orr material.
