Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Historic utilitarian relic, this brick was originally part of the foundation to one of hockey’s most fabled buildings, the Chicago Stadium. Home of the Black Hawks from 1929 until it’s unfortunate demolition in 1994, the building was later home to the Chicago Bulls as well, who enjoyed residence for over a quarter century. At 4” x 8” with expected excessive weight, the brick has a centralized plaque adhered proclaiming its important status including its authenticity as guaranteed by O’Rahilly Enterprises Ltd. In very good condition with expected wear from prior installation, the top left corner exhibits a large amount of loss, while the affixed plaque also shows light wear including a few small scratches.
