A product of the University of Michigan, Eric Nystrom spent a full four seasons with the Wolverines before moving on to appear for the Calgary Flames in his rookie season of 2007-08. We have a signed Flames jersey worn by the NY native in his rookie season, along with a pair of game-used gloves. The “Red Set #1” jersey has CCM size tagging along the collar, along with an NHL crest on the front neckline. Styled with slanted tri-colour tackle twill numbers, both Canadian and Albertan flags reside over the shoulders. The gloves are Reebok models in solid black with embroidered identifiers, with “23” handwritten on the palm of each. The jersey exhibits nice use, with a few fabric pulls on the front section along with some light pilling. Nystrom has signed along the fight strap adding his number, and the signature displays well. A MeiGray patch numbered E04673 sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany. The glove show nice use, with good wear to the leather in sections, especially along edges. The palms also exhibit wear, with a small hole that only penetrates the first layer of fabric on the left hand. The jersey is now photo-matched to the big mark on the team crest to an included numeric image and it was worn when he scored his first NHL goal vs Nashville, October 30th 2007.
