Dany Heatley was chosen second overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, and he’s lived up to his lofty status, winning the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league’s top rookie in 2002. He’s also Team Canada’s all-time leading goals and points scorer. We have an impressive gathering of items used by the superstar, including his signed gloves and stick from the 2009 NHL All-Star Game, with the stick photo-matched, along with his 150th career goal puck. The stick has been signed across the toe section of the blade in silver paint pen, with an inscription near the heel of “ASG 09”, while each glove has been signed near the thumb guard in black marker, with both signatures displaying well.
The stick is an Easton S17 model with “51 Heatley” factory graphics, with the original tape on the blade and handle/knob. Just light use is exhibited, with wear to the taped section of blade. Getty Image #84448742 from the NHL All-Star Game on Jan 25th 2009 has been matched to the unique pattern of the tape on the blade. The gloves are also Easton models featuring “Heatley” embroidered onto each cuff, with attractive “2009 All-Star Game” graphics over each thumb. Light use is again exhibited, with some wear to the right palm from the red tape on the stick’s handle. The puck from Dany’s 150th career milestone goal features a Sens logo along with “Official Game Puck”, with an NHL logo and Gary Bettman’s facsimile signature on the reverse. Stick tape added along the edge states “Dany Heatley #150 career goal Dec 21/06 Tampa Bay pp 2:21 (2)”, which translates to Heatley scoring his 150th career goal against the Lightning on Dec 21st 2006, scored on the power play in the second period, at 2:21. The puck exhibits some nice game-use, and displays beautifully.
